Things ive already reported this week are:

  • ive separated from my husband from a month ago, we will be getting a divorce.
  • i closed my self employment as was barely making any money for the past 6 months.
  • which therefore im now unemployed.

I have 3 children living with me (and husband as he wont move out!) age 10, 14 and 18 (18 y old is carrying onto her 2nd year in college in Sept).

As i am aware that i need to find a job (straight away or soon?).

I am deaf but dont claim for PIP anymore 😕

Can they push me into getting another job whilst im ready to start a divorce? (im seeing a solicitor next week for legal advice before i kick off the divorce) .... I'm barely sleeping atm as so stressful.

Gosh you have got a lot on your plate. Have got my fingers crossed for you things settle down.
As you are a single parent now I would advise contacting Gingerbread for benefit advice if you are in England or Wales as they are very helpful- there is a phone number 0808 802 0925 and they can use the text relay service NGT Text relay service. Text users can prefix their call with 18002. Have found them really good and avoid waiting to get through by maybe trying more than once if I don't get straight through.
