When will the universal credit increase come in?

Hi I just wondered I get universal credit and was told the payment should be increasing from April. However I have just looked at my payment due 24th (17th March-17th April is the period used to work it out) and it's the same amount and hasn't increased.

Single mum and was really hoping that they would increase with inflation as struggling.

We are on the old style tax credits and I rang to ask about this and was told that the new rates would take effect from the next renewal period - so from July (ie will be backdated to the 10th April and will be spread out over the year). But it may be different for UC, I’m not sure.

I think the papers have been misleading. I was expecting the increase in April’s payment too but it will be next month 😞

It's the payment date from 10th April. My assessment period is 4th so I'm expecting it next month on payment date of 11th.

I went on everyday to update rent increase. Missed the 1 day they put it on with deadline to input data the same day!

But I think rent payments are done in arrears anyway so don't think it would affected my assessment? But literally hadn't been requested on 2nd. Put it on in 3rd to do that day. Assessment period is until 4th.

They don't make it easy!

I also got a text to say between the 25th of April and the 17th of may will be getting a cost of living payment of £301

We won't see it until June!
