Family of 5 Weekly food shop cost?

Just wondering how much people are aiming to spend each week for food/household items. Our weekly Tesco shop is around £150-£160 for 5 of us. Two adults, 6 year old, 4 year old and 1 year old. This includes things like nappies, cleaning products etc… but we also probably spend about £20 a week in top up shops. I feel like we are spending far too much.

Is this extravagant or reasonable? I would love to cut costs but just don’t have the time to go to lots of difference shops to get bargains. My husband is coeliac too, so I’m finding gluten free products push up the price too.

This weeks food bill was ridiculous family of 4, breakfast, lunch and dinner for 4 people including bin bags/shampoo £193 I was gobsmacked!two years ago I was annoyed when the bill was over £100 now I’d be happy at £100 I literally don’t know how to make it any cheaper. I think your £160 sounds ok.
