Cost of living payment and new UC claims

Hi, I was hoping that someone could offer me some advice.
I started a claim for UC on the 13th Feb so my assessment period starts then until 12th March.
i didn’t receive a payment within the qualifying period for the COL payment but as I was entitled to a payment starting on the 13th feb (within the qualifying period) does that mean that I will qualify for the COL payment?

I can’t work it out by reading the guidelines myself.

No I don't think you will qualify. I thought the qualifying date was set months before.

You won't be entitled. Your assessment period has to end between 26th Jan and 25th Feb.your first assessment period doesn't end till March.

I think you need to receive a payment within the qualifying period so if your entitled to £0 I don't think you'll receive the COL payment

No you won't qualify for this springtime one but should do for the Autumn one assuming you continue to get an award each month.
