I've been in emergency accommodation through Solihull council since mid feb 2023, moving from hotel to hotel with my 3 children. Today I was offered temp accommodation in a 2 bed high rise flat, I received the keys and it is completely run down. Soon I will be band b once main duty is granted to me, my question is how long have people lived in temp accommodation in Solihull specifically? I'm wondering whether it's worth me re-decorating and getting new flooring (as it seems the previous tenant had an animal and he absolutely reeks)
