I need some advice please!! No one can seem to advise me.
so I earned £520 in my assessment period. Like I normally do. I still get around £700 of universal credit but for some reason they’re saying I earned £1660 And only paying £62 I called my employer who has shown me they’ve reported it correctly, i do not get paid 4 weekly. I contacted HMRC who have also confirmed they only was told I earned £520 too. I’ve called UC who tell me to wait for the case manager. Always 6pm tomorrow, this has been going on since the 9th. I now have my P45 and it shows I haven’t even earned that much the entire time I’ve been employed there.. as it was only a temporary position. I’ve been reading horror stories and I’m so worried this won’t be rectified. I’ve called everyone and they’re all turning me away 😞
there is a reason i think this has happened I worked for another temp position in October it was 4 days. I earned £256. But they sent me a final payment of £25 in January (that’s fine) but on my tax account it says £2111 then I click on to it it only says the £256 plus £25. When I called HMRC they said they can not see what I see. And there’s no way universal credit got that £1660 number from them. So I’m nervous and unsure. No bills were paid today. I’m due to a food shop. I got about £3 on my electric left over from the discount. I don’t know what to do 😭😭😭😭
