Has anyone received their £200 alternative fuel payment yet. I’m starting to think it doesn’t exist

Good to hear they are coming through! Who is your electricity supplier if you don’t mind me asking. Oil seems to be the lowest it’s been in a while in our area and I’d like to take advantage of it!

Got mine today. Credited to my 'closed account' from my previous house. No idea if it will also get credited to my current bill..which is with a different supplier! Argh

Nothing on EDF website at all. I tried the chat facility yesterday and got told they couldn't help and no customer service agents available.

When I contacted Octopus last week, they said that they were waiting for the government to send them the payment and all they could do was point me to the gov.uk website. There’s another thread on here about the payment and some suppliers have already made the payment or have emailed their customers to say that they would be receiving it.

Nothing here, we're with British Gas for electric. No comms about it whatsoever.

I’m with British Gas too. i did speak to them on the live chat the other week and they said from 10th onwards, but we had our £67 today and assumed they’d go in at the same time

No it’s an alternative fuel payment, so if you don’t use gas for your heating, we use oil, we were getting a one off payment to help with the cost increase

I am British Gas - no payment or even any comms here either.
