How can I access my smart meter reading?

British Gas installed new smart meters several weeks ago. They had no monitors available on the day and aren't responding to my emails and messages. Is there any way I can access real time energy useage? I've got the British Gas app but that doesn't acknowledge that I have a smart meter. Thanks in advance.

Can you not get daily readings from the meter. Mine has a monitor but I can also press a button on the meter to see the reading

Mine are in an awkward position in a cupboard so didn't think to check thank you!
