No but I am wearing a vest, long sleeved thermal, thick wool jumper and big cardigan, two pairs of socks and slippers. Feet are cold but the rest of me is ok as long as I’m moving. When I sit down I need a blanket. We’ve been using our heating for two hours in the evening which is about 1/3 what we used last year (an hour and a half in the morning and 4.5 hours in late afternoon/evening) but the house is much much colder as a result which of course means it’s having to work harder to heat when it is on. I think last year the inside temperature only got as low as 17 but this year it’s 13-15 depending on the room.

I’m going out for long walks every day as it gets me warm and then the house feels warmer when I come home!

We turned the heating on at 3pm today and off at 7pm - most we've had it on so far. Just had it on maybe twice before for a couple of hours. Today, though, it was absolutely freezing - I was working upstairs, in our 100 plus year old house, and watching my breath on the air whilst trying to type with fingerless gloves (impossible). Also wearing long sleeved jersey top, fleece top, fleece dressing gown, scarf for head and neck, thermal booties, socks another dressing gown when I'm on the sofa and finally with a blanket over every other part - no hot water bottle today. In these temperatures -3 to -5, it's difficult to keep avoiding using the heating.. what a state we're in! I never thought I'd see the day when we can't afford to heat our homes as we once used to.

Good idea to do exercise though, a brisk walk about the block gets things warmed up :-)

No, I can't afford to replace the floor if it caves in !!!!!!!😂

Nope. There are other things I'll give up before I'll freeze me tits off.
