Late £66 pre payment top up.

Anyone else's next pre payment gas instalment of £66 late due to Royal Mail strikes?
I've been getting them at the beginning of the month but this one is late and I'm eagerly checking my letterbox every day. 😫

My payment due end of November was late so I phoned British Gas. They said they'd migrated my account to their new system and I'd get the payment in with my December payment. I said they'd not notified me of this by email, letter or phone and I was depending on that money and they had no right to withhold it. The chap went off to talk to his supervisor, came back and said my payment would be in my bank in the next few days. It came next day.

It might be worth querying with your energy provider.

Thank you @FlipFlops4Me. I was going to call them but it takes about an hour to get through. Everything is a joke at the moment.

Mine came today and it was delayed.
Date on it said 3rd. Edf

Good news @Cheesuswithallama. Fingers crossed for mine today! It -7 here this morning.

Mine always seems to be topped up on the 4th of each month but mine goes straight on the meter.
