It's freezing! I'm hoping you lovely clever people can help me get a point across to my husband.
It's bitterly cold out and warm inside. If he's taking bins out, popping to car etc he'll leave front door open. Pulled ajar, but still open. It'll often blow wider open.
I feel the blast of cold air all the way through the house and shout shut the bloody front door and then get cross because why waste all that lovely warm air.
He argues it's open 30 seconds and won't make any difference. It's still warm inside compared to outside.
Does anyone have any clever explanation so I can win this argument once and for all? Like X% of a rooms heat will be lost in Y time? It's every day!
