Energy rebate payment

Had anyone else had issues with the energy rebate payment?

I pay DD was told I would receive £66 refund after DD was taken (British gas). October DD came and went and around 2 weeks later I received the rebate.

November's DD was taken and no rebate revieved up until now where I have received £11.37 in to my bank. Is this right? I have had no letters saying my bills are going up so not sure why they have reduced the amount by £54.63.

Will be calling them when they open but just want to know if anyone else has experienced this?

Can you see your account information online and check your latest billing? That will probably explain

Maybe they’ve deducted it if your account didn’t have enough in it to cover a recent bill? My DD for British Gas came out on 1st December and the £67 rebate was in my bank on 8th December.

Sorry, ignore that - my gas is with Brito Gas, but electricity is elsewhere! Regardless, I would look at the online account if you’re registered for that - it should explain it.

@SchrodingersKettle unfortunately not because that's another issue they haven't managed to fix for me yet, I've never been able to access my online account.

@FlowersareEverything they haven't sent a letter to say that my DD needs to be changed and as far as I was aware my bills were going to remain the same until January. I didn't think they were allowed to take the rebate money for that should they not have amended my DD? I haven't actually used anything more than what I was previously.
