Edf energy home hub

Does anyone have the edf energy home hub which tells you which appliances are using the most energy? I am amazed that over 30% of our usage is home entertainment and wonder how they work it out/how accurate it is? Fridges and freezers seem pretty high too which is odd because they are both fairly new.

It says we used 117kwh on home entertainment last month and 74kwh on fridges and freezers.

We have this, and I've had exactly the same thought! Entertainment seems very high, and I wonder how they calculate it, and whether it's accurate. I guess the only thing to do is get a real time monitor and go round turning stuff off to see what impact it has.

Basically it doesn't really know but goes on your answers in your profile. Its not accurate. It says I spent £3 heating my home but I haven't turned my heating o yet. I wouldnt read too much into it.

Just searching mumsnet to see if anyone else thinks the EDF app is wrong!
It is!
For November it has our hot water as £0 when every month before it has been at least £20! And we have been having showers in November!
Also had my heating on but app saying that's £0 too.
It's really unhelpful to be using these costs to cut down when they aren't correct!

Mine (eon, but similar thing) said that I used 98% of my gas in October on heating and 2% on water. I didn't turn my heating on til the end of November!

it's all just best-guess, it can't actually tell what you are using.
