Discounted Broadband

I heard on the news the other day that there are "social" broadband deals for those who are struggling with the cost of living....apparently only 3% of eligable people are actually on them. Think you just need to talk to your provider....theyre not advertised but they do exist as its classed as an essential service....be interested to know if anyone is on such a deal and what were the conditions

I'm not, because the internet speed is very low so not good for multiple device streaming/gaming etc, and also many have monthly data caps. Unlimited usage or higher speed aren't that much more expensive if you shop around/use a comparison site.
