Gas and Electric going forward

Have I missed something?

These initiatives to help us with fuel prices are temporary? Has it been mentioned what happens next year, or the year after, when this help isn't available, our savings have been depleted, our income reduced due to inflation and won't cover all outgoings? There is a limit to how much someone on a low wage / pension can cut back.

Has it been mentioned how we're likely to survive going forward once this financial help has been given out?

Hmm, no. I think the plan is that it'll give you enough time to adjust and plan. The reports today show that energy prices are likely to remain stable (but remain high) until at least 2025 so we will all have to adapt and tighten our belts a bit, sacrifice things, etc.
