I understand that I need to reduce use of the oven to bake and roast if I want to minimise the kitchen's contribution to spiralling gas charges.
But for foods that can be either grilled or fried, is there a significant difference between the cost of frying on an induction hob, and grilling using the grill setting of the oven? (ie, using the grill element in the top of the oven).
Not concerned here with health or flavour considerations, which will obviously vary according to the food. Just with the cost of getting the same food cooked.
