Electric standard

Hope I'm posting in the correct place. But I'm having a nightmare with Scottish power & my smart meter. Everything was fine when I first got it.

Last Sunday I woke up and was randomly given £130 on my smart meter no idea why couldn't get in touch with SP. Monday came and it had took nearly £40 off. All week it's been taking near £40 off a day. Thought it might be because they added it to my meter by mistake and they were taking it away.

This morning I got up and watched the meter jump from 31p to 77p within a minute. I hadn't used anything. I've been trying to contact SP all week and had no luck.

This morning I used the emergency top up which is normally £10 but it's added £100. So now I'll will have to top up £100 to pay the emergency credit back and extra to keep out the emergency credit.

I have looked on my account and seen this morning (which wasn't there yesterday) my standard daily charge is £53.73. I physically cannot pay this daily. I'm in work now and feel like going home because I'm so worried how I'm actually going to live. I only live in a small 2 bedroom apartment.

Does this sound right?

I don't know anything about smart meters, but are you sure the daily charge isn't 59.73p (ie £0.5973) rather than £59.73 as that'd make more sense.

Do they have a chat box, or is there any way you can email them?

Yes sorry it's 53.73p my mistake.
