Renting after dro

Hi
I had a dro a few years back and still have about 2.5 years till it drops of my credit report.
Am i going to run into issues when trying to rent? Im currently still renting the house i had when i got the dro but now may need to move, i have never missed one payment on my rent and have since took another credit card out and never missed a payment but my credit score is still low

Would i fail the credit check for renting , Would i be running into alot of issues trying to rent ? Would i maybe just need a guarantor or extra deposit?
This would be through letting/estate agents and private most likely would not be a option

Anyone done this before or knows the process??

Are you working? Some agents don’t accept a guarantor and could I ask the amount of the debt. Work on the fringes of lettings
so might be able to help.

@stratforduponavon Yeah im working full time hours same job since dro began never had a issue with paying my rent ever, the debt was around 8.5k all included in the dro which has ended a few years back,

So basically if the letting company doesnt accept guarantors i wouldnt be able to rent from them due to the credit check?
Do i still need a credit check if i was able to go to a letting company who accepts a guarantor??

I think that it very much depends on who you are trying to rent from @unitedg201

Some private/hobby landlords don't seem to do any checks at all as I can make out.
