Shrinkflation........toilet rolls.

I'm slowly turning into my mother! Hadn't really noticed things getting smaller yet still priced the same. However, I bought a pack of 9 toilet rolls last night and I thought they looked smaller in size when I put them into my trolley. Confirmed when I got them home and put one on top of an old one in my bathroom.... definitely far less sheets.

Anyone else got other items to share shrinking down ?

Mint Matchmakers - they’ve changed the box and I suspect cut the number down by a significant amount.

muller light yogurts. Was changing the prices over In store and noticed the weights were not the same.

A lot of loo rolls are smaller because the middles are smaller and they are wrapped tighter. It saves on packaging and transport costs but there is the same amount of sheets.

You could well be right.......but I've just checked the packaging on mine. New loo rolls (bought last night) 190 sheets per roll. Old packaging (from months ago) in my downstairs toilet 240 sheets per roll.

I was looking at my loo rolls today and thinking the tubes were much wider. Shrinkflation by stealth.
