life that is not good. I hope it was something that you weren't too fussed for. It would be heartbreaking if you had been looking forward to it.

We had beef in oyster sauce, crispy duck and fried noodles and pok choi. I already need to go back to the supermarket.

Em don't tell the ducks. It sounds really peaceful in your new house and your mum is a wonder mum.

Happier I can spend many of an evening looking through the aisles of doom in Aldi. Plan it right and you can walk your 10,000 steps too.

The aldi aisle of wonder is great if not frugal.
It was a meatloaf some one shared to try.

AdoraBell · 14/02/2022 20:40

Groceries delivered £84 ish

Alfiemoon1 · 14/02/2022 21:40

Spends to £23 on cat food from Amazon just hope I don’t run out before it’s comes on Wednesday it’s quite expensive in the local shop and they only have that felix that people thought was making there cats poorly so would rather not buy it

Mrsmadevans · 14/02/2022 22:07

Alfie glad you got the time off good luck with the interview Flowers
Sorry to bother you but what Felix was the one that made the cats ill please? We use Felix As Good As It Looks Adult Cat Food Ocean Feasts in Jelly . l hope it isn't this Shock

Alfiemoon1 · 14/02/2022 22:19

Not sure if it’s all new varieties of felix it has a green bit on the box saying no artificial colour or flavours the older boxes didn’t have this. It was all over Facebook a few months ago not sure how true it is but I’ve avoided it since

Phew on leave being granted

Happierwithouthim · 15/02/2022 08:52

I bought a cross stitch set that says Sunshine & foam mats for under my weights in aisle of doom. I've got lots of cross stitch that I could do, but I thought this would be nice for our house.

€90.56 aldi including flowers for myself, not valentines purchase but replacing the dead ones at home Smile

Unescorted · 15/02/2022 12:55

Alfiemoon1 · 15/02/2022 16:06

Was raining here this morning but seems to have stopped now but it’s cold. Think there is another windy storm coming in the next few days.

lifelongfrugaleer · 15/02/2022 17:42

Windy and fine here
Nsd

CurlsandCurves · 15/02/2022 20:42

Rainy here most of the day.

Met my bestest friend for lunch. She paid as it was a birthday present, absolutely lovely. I was so glad to see her as it’s been a few weeks and she’s really been going through it recently both personally and professionally. So it was great to let her just talk and be there for her.

NSD too.

floatinginmyhomie · 15/02/2022 22:17

Nightmare day yesterday. Busy morning at work a meeting over tan which meant that I was late leaving at lunchtime for my half day. Went riding and got put through my paces jumping. Yay. In the rain.

Then went to see my house. Kitchen is gone. 😳

Lovemaltesers · 16/02/2022 18:28

Glad you got your time off Alfie, was it today?

I got an interview for the one I applied for next week. DH has had to cancel an appointment so I can go though.

I’ve now got some physio booked in for post accident. So hopefully will help.

Literally slogging my way to half term here 😂 Each day brings a gift of how many people are off!

Mrsmadevans · 16/02/2022 18:46

CurlsAHH how lovely for you both 😊💐
Floating MumBob live near a lake and the wildfowl are absolutely gorgeous. A Flock of Geese fly by everyday about the same time , honking and flapping they make my day ❤️
Em they are getting on with it fair dos! 👏👏
Good luck for next week Love 😊 l had physio after my accident they were brilliant, the insurance company paid for it l had about 8 sessions. It really helped my neck and shoulders . It didn't affect my claim either . I was still paid 2.5k as well. I also had to see a Dr about my injury . I was genuinely hurt my neck was awful for weeks. Good luck lovely 🍀🍀🍀
NSD yay!

Mrsmadevans · 16/02/2022 18:51

Alfie hope the interview went well lovely Smile

Alfiemoon1 · 16/02/2022 18:59

Yes it was today love I don’t feel it went well unfortunately. I was awake all night going over my answers in my head so woke up feeling rubbish. They kept me waiting ages as had tech issues 1 person in the room with me 2 on zoom the person with me left twice in the middle of my answer as her pen wouldn’t work so that thew me off course and all the examples I had gone over in my head all night I didn’t use any of them lol

Waiting to hear back but I am not hopeful but ah well at least I have a job but i really don’t like it

Just had ds parents evening at college and as I suspected he’s putting in minimal effort so I am feeling fed up tonight I am quite possibly hormonal as well which doesn’t help either
But it’s been a nsd and perfumes have arrived so not all bad I suppose

lifelongfrugaleer · 16/02/2022 19:20

Wtf they left because the pen didn’t work , twice. That’s completely unprofessional.
Tech issues can’t always be helped but good grief
I tried to get some books from the library but they don’t hold them so £17

Unescorted · 16/02/2022 19:30

Alfie sorry it didn't go so well. The poor IT and faulty pen are not your fault so you can discount them & I doubt anyone wouldn't have been thrown by it. I have just noticed I was totally confused when I said Monday. Obvs I mean today Blush

Mrs glad the physio went well.

I have had a blerrrrkkk day. So wet and miserable. The highlight seems to have been meeting with the undertaker.....

Alfiemoon1 · 16/02/2022 19:52

And now the icing on the cake to round up a rubbish day I’ve started my period which will probably also have contributed to the brain fog and feeling sickly in my interview the joys of being peri menopausal hopefully I will hear back tomorrow either way
So I am going to have a soak in the bath put my pjs on eat junk and do naff all tonight
