Repeated wrong DD taken

Hi everyone, I'm at my wits end with David Lloyd.
Every month they have taken the wrong amount from my account via direct debit. I finally thought we had it right this month but I've just seen they've taken well over double what I owe from my account this month, nearly £300!
This is compounded by the fact that their admin team is only reached by email. There are delays of weeks to get a response via phone, apparently due to covid?!
Can anyone help me re my rights?
Thank you

Cancel the DD?

Then email and firstly point out their is no COVID restrictions anymore so using COVID as an excuse is ridiculous.

And then tell them them you've paid X amount and it should have been Y amount and if you don't have a refund of Z amount in 5 working days you'll start to pursue through the small claims court.

That should get them to sit up and listen!

D/D guarantee. Dispute it with your bank.

Thanks both. It's so irritating that covid is being used as a catch all for just bad comms and treatment by companies
