Thank you to whoever has used this! We've found octopus to be really good and they're customer service has been great. Was previously a British gas customer and they were a nightmare!

I'm going to switch to them later, they're one of the few companies still offering fixed price tariffs and taking on new customers. I don't mind if the people linking here also get £50, that's generally how these kind of referrals work, they've brought this to my attention and it's no skin off my nose!

@Blueuggboots Times are really tough and it may help someone? Of course there's an incentive and it wouldn't take a genius to work out it may also help the referrer, it goes both ways but clearly we recommend them or wouldn't be with the company

Would you seriously read we both get 50 credit and think ah sod that, someone else may benefit so I'll join without a link.. point being what odds does it make? I think a lot of people don't put because a) its obvious and b) people may think of its a scam and they're only recommending me to benefit themselves whereas I genuinely think they've been really good. Won which energy company 21 and 5* rated on trust pilot and if it helps me and someone else that can only be a good thing.

I’ve been with Octopus now for a few years and have been really happy with them. They have a simple website for inputting meter readings, they update your statement immediately when you give a meter reading which I love, they’ve not hounded me to install a smart meter and prices have been decent too. Far happier with them than anyone else I’ve been with. This referral link gives us both £50 if you use it to signup
