Is Hive worth it ?

We stayed in a holiday home with a hive and wondered if it's worth it and would it help us save money?

We have one for the convenience it offers. I’m not convinced that it saves us any money.

Doesn't save us money but doesn’t cost more either and l like that l can control it from my phone.
I would recommend it.

They're fine. Had ours three years now, it's done well.

If you go all out and add per-radiator valves (or entire split zones) and have lots of rooms with few people... they may save you money. Otherwise just set it to 19C (or whatever) and leave it there all year just like a mechanical one, except you can give it a boost from your sofa.

We use Hive to control security lighting; it's simple to set up and very flexible. Being rtired we don't bother with the heating aspect.

Love ours. So easy to set schedules, boost for an hour when needed, turn it on when on way home so come in to a toasty house etc.
