Is Freecycle broken?

I'm not sure that this is the right board to post on but here goes ...

Freecycle seems to have had an upgrade recently, the pages look different. I have sent two messages in the last two days. Neither person has responded.
Am I being unlucky (I know that they are under no obligation to respond) or has the messaging system broken?
Has anybody had any experience recently?

I recently advertised something on freecycle and like you could see there had been an upgrade. I got an automated email about every response to my post so my assumption would be that that you weren't the successful 'bidder'.
