I miss the crafty frugaleers too, especially Lonely’s knitting tales. And lots of the others - Jam, wreck etc. Hope they pop back.
North it sounds as though your consultant was great and hopefully her advice will really help. I have a close friend who has lived with CFS for years - it comes and goes. The hardest thing for her has been accepting the unfairness of not being able to do everything and saying no to joining in with some things as she has to budget her energy so carefully. But she’s had good management advice over the years and it has helped a lot. Good luck to your DS.
I’ve been SO HOT today. London is horrible, work was exhausting (no aircon), the tube is vile. Made a spicy rice thing for dinner that was really too spicy too - last thing I needed was to break a spice sweat! It’s meant to be 38C here tomorrow and I am a little concerned as I will have two kids to entertain and they will not think that my idea (of sitting completely still in a room with the curtains closed) is a good one
. DS also won’t go in a paddling pool because he has a complete horror of getting his clothes wet. It might be a long day
. I’ve got leave on Friday too as no childcare for DS while DD is at nursery, so I’ll try to think of something to do with him he’ll want to go on the bloody tube though it will be an nsd though as I’m not going out. Spent about £30 today on lunch and top-up shop for the next couple of days, fruit etc.
Oh, and also home insurance £530 . Good job it was payday.
DD’s bedroom was over 30C when I put her down this evening, so I’m a little concerned about that. I’ve just checked and it’s STILL over 30C, with the window wide open. I’m going to put kitchen foil on her windows tomorrow morning to reflect the sun.
