Hi All, I'm a really bad money manager. Money seems to slip through my fingers. I have a few loans, credit card bills and no savings that's worth mentioning. I live from pay cheque to pay cheque.
I should be able to put a bit away every month but I'm not and I'm not sure where it's all going.
I do have big bills, 3 kids and a big mortgage but so do many people and they manage to save.
I've tried the trusted pen and paper but I still haven't managed to save a penny but have begun to clear some debts and make sure bills are paid on time.
Can anyone recommend a good app. I've down loaded "spending tracker" ....it seems good but I'm just Wondering if anyone had used any similar apps and have they helped curtail spending and help you save?
From any good money managers out there, what is your biggest , simplest tip for budgeting.
TIA

Ynab-You need a budget. In essence its a fancy spreadsheet backed by a sound budgeting method. Will cost a couple of £ a month but you will reap the rewards, consider it an investment. I've been using it since 2011 and it turned helped me turn my finances around. Now, I'm very proud of my money management, and many friends ask me for advice!
