Saving as a student

I don't buy coffee or eat out a lot or even really go out drinking but I have realised I spend a lot of money on just eat and deliveroo. Partly because it's convenient, and partly because I'm disorganised and sometimes don't have food to cook or eat in. So what I have decided to do (tonight after I was tempted to order dominos) is whenever I decide to order in unnecessarily (so when I have food in) instead of ordering I'm transferring the money I was going to spend into a seperate savings account instead. I know I'll be horrified to see the money mount up there quickly but it's better in my pocket than anywhere else.

Any other hints, tips or tricks for a newbie budgeter?

What's a Monzo card? @Blondiw1984 Currently I just make use of moving money I don't want to spend to my ISA's.
