Man flu .... oh dear
Last night we had pork which was from the freezer and tonight it will be fish.

Last month I brought loads of stuff and anyone would think we were going to get snowed in or flooded or something now this month I am trying a different approach in regards to but what we need and if we need more I can pop to the shops!

Yeah! We’re totally having freezer pork tonight too!

Honestly... shopping in case of snow is the only type of shopping I know... blame my mum I guess. but now i’m Looking at my tiny, over-burdened kitchen and thinking i’ve Got to change. Incidentally last night’s lob it dinner was delicious.

So 4th day NSD and not wanting for anything which is cool. Tomorrow I have a coffee scheduled with a friend and may get the train to the next town to return the baby grow and Halloween outfit... think I may come out of it at £0 which will still be quite good! Somehow doubt it though Smile

Tonight's dinner was frozen pizza and chicken selects from Tesco! Such a yummy Friday in front of the telly dinner. Love it.

Weekend of for me and my partner so it's highly likely we shall spend! But we have put a certain amount by and that's what we have to spend. Can't stay in the whole time while we are both off!

Anyways how's everyone's week been???

Not been a very successful week with no spend but I had to replace a couple of small things that were necessary. And I have an annual bill to pay. Plus a couple of family birthdays coming up and needed gifts.

gothefcktosleep · 13/10/2018 23:52

okay, I am sort of losing it to the Christmas excitement... a twig Reindeer (£15 - he’s so cute!) yesterday, plus coffee and a cookie (just went for the cheapest food), then today have bought DD’s Xmas stocking (technically paid for by a friend) and reusable water bottles for DH and I at £10 each... this as least replaces our plastic bottle habit.

purplepigs · 14/10/2018 09:25

@gothefcktosleep BUT remember up until now you have had a really good month could have been worse you could have spent like that everyday for the last week! And you did say they were cute right?
I ended up going into primark yesterday and picking up 2 long sleeve tops - but hey ho it's primark and it's nearly winter ! Cinema today - gonna keep spend to a minimum !

Have a good Sunday.

I had a no spend day even though walked round the shops with my mum and the kids.

gothefcktosleep · 17/10/2018 11:49

Okay! So NSD y’day

Today I’ve just bought DD a soft fabric book, mini rainmaker and a toy instrument (like a rattle but cymbals instead of bells) she was playing with at the children’s centre and loved.. all 3 for £1.07 in the local charity shop - so chuffed. Never have much joy in charity shops for myself (although my best friend has struck gold on occasion) but they’re an absolute treasure trove for children’s books and toys.

This week hasn't started off great TBH Monday was okay - didn't spend a thing - however yesterday I had to buy some more work trousers so that was £25 and then may tooth broke ! A piece of my tooth just fell off - no pain when it happened, no pain now strange dentist appointment tomorrow so that will cost me a small fortune I am sure!!!!!

gothefcktosleep · 17/10/2018 13:57

Not having a great no spend October!

Monday and yesterday were NSD. Today is a food shop day. I should be writing a meal plan and shopping list but feeling really unmotivated!

Not sure how this week will go. We're away next weekend so that will be a write off!

Itis6oclocksomewhere · 25/10/2018 09:34

Had one NSD so far this week. Think today may be another one.
How is everyone else doing?

purplepigs · 26/10/2018 10:12

Yesterday we spent £135 on decorating the hall and a new radiator cover. So didn't quite get to the end of the month - however we did wait until after pay day! LOL

Is there a November thread? I can’t find one!

Itis6oclocksomewhere · 04/11/2018 08:18

Littlechocola I haven't seen a November one either. Really hoping I have a better NSD November. October was very poor for NSD!

Littlechocola · 05/11/2018 19:55

Me too @Itis6oclocksomewhere
