€10 passport photos for dd, ds three a strop and wouldn't take his I'm hoping on my return journey from visiting my Nan he'll comply else H will have to do it tomo or mon, would like to get them in the post asap.
€12.40 in Tesco €1.60 on newspaper remainder entirely on junk food, Nan has a sweet tooth as does ds so I thought I'd bribe him.

lifelongfrugaleer · 05/05/2018 12:06

YY to a park wolf, you could sit in the sun, nearby museum?

MrsOH2004 · 05/05/2018 13:24

Have finally caught up.

So sorry about your Dad Sea, I hope he gets somewhere quiet soon.

£77 in Asda, work today and tomorrow, but off Monday so I might decide on a BBQ.

Had my 1st shift Wednesday morning for Bank HCA and I loved it, I have to do the care certificate, but managed to get lots signed off on just that shift, I even took blood pressures Grin

WreckTangled · 05/05/2018 13:28

Well done Mrs! It's great that they've introduced the cafe certificate now

SunnyLikeThursday · 05/05/2018 14:39

Thanks for the kind birthday wishes for ds. Smile We had his presents this morning and cake, and the dgrandparents over. That was nice. We've never had them close by and everything was a lot more civilised with them around. Could do with a sleep now. Zzzzz

Taytocrisps · 05/05/2018 14:45

Well, that was rather disappointing. I showered and shaved my legs and now the sun's gone in and I'm hoping it doesn't rain on my clothes.

Oh no, wait, it's back. The sun's playing peekaboo.

WreckTangled · 05/05/2018 14:46

It's really hot here. Dh has cut the lawn and hedge and is currently pushing ds around in the wheelbarrow.

Wolfcub · 05/05/2018 14:55

Park done. Also water and cake (unfrugal) and £1 for parking whilst I waited to pick ds up and I found myself sandwiched between a wedding and a hen do whilst waiting for him. Someone somewhere has definitely got it in for me. Washing out on the line and df has cut my grass for me

lifelongfrugaleer · 05/05/2018 14:58

At least next time you can make a cake and take a flask wolf. You know what's what now.

ememem84 · 05/05/2018 15:09

£27 Riding - superb day for it.

Dh took ds to the boat show. Then for a coffee. Then to the park and I picked them up after riding and after M&S (£23) and after I picked up our boots order.

Ds is now sleeping on the couch. Absolutely exhausted. So much fresh air. And new things to see.

ememem84 · 05/05/2018 15:21

Dh bought some fresh from the pigs at the lovely farm who happened to have a stall at the boat show sausage rolls. Oh god. They were delicious.

I’m now dying my towels. The lovely grey ones I got bleach on. Hopefully it takes.

Wolfcub · 05/05/2018 15:51

You lot are bloody brilliant. Life I should have thought of that having made a cake yesterday. Plan for next week sorted!

ememem84 · 05/05/2018 16:47

See this? See in the bin? Those my friends are my ugg boots. Bye bye uggs. They’ve done their time.

The Waitrose bag is for charity shop and I’ve weedled our a few more bits. But the uggs? They had to be binned.

I’ll probably buy another pair for my birthday in the autumn as they are super cosy.

mammynowanauntyIRL · 05/05/2018 16:55

Wolf how's ds after contact?
Em well done on disposing of uggs

Don't tell life but I just ate a 99 to mark the occasion of a hot day in Ireland Grin €2.50 on that & an ice cream tub for dd

Ds has fallen asleep in the car, he bloody needed that he was a cranky pants Angry

lifelongfrugaleer · 05/05/2018 17:00

It's ok mammy I'm on least damage as out for tea. Will post food pick later. Shite steps too

ememem84 · 05/05/2018 17:10

Ds just napped for almost 2 hours. Wow!

LonelyOversharer · 05/05/2018 17:11

Oh dear. Dp has just had the big car up on a jack and said "fuck, fuckity fuck fuck" so I'm guessing the exhsust is away. It cartainly sounds bad enough. One thing after another that car.

So I've had a great day out in the garden. Some digging, lots of planting up/on, and dd3 and I have earthed up all the potato pots, and planted the desiree and pink fir apples. With compost from the raised beds in the front garden (where nothing grows), so lifting and shifting and 80 steps round trip with each bucket. Am pooped. And done 5k steps.

Tip run this morning, £8 on 2 lengths of timber (have put up another 3m of fence), and £6 in the co-op, milk and coffee. We are contemplating a Chinese tonight. Even though we have left over pork in the fridge.

Well done wolf on getting through a visit. I take it you don't have to see exh at all? I hope it doesn't upset your ds too much.

lifelongfrugaleer · 05/05/2018 17:39

Yum, yum

Fluffycloudland77 · 05/05/2018 18:02

£14 cattery balance paid.
£3 panadol.

Yesterday I spent £6 on a throat spray Dh chose for me that I can’t use.

Wolfcub · 05/05/2018 18:15

Lonely fingers crossed the car isn’t too bad.
Life that looks lovely
Em that’s a great nap, hope he sleeps tonight
Mammy hope ds wakes up less cranky

I am making mushroom risotto which means I’m also having wine 😁. Ds was ratty and shouty after contact but not upset, I assume this is progress
I don’t have to see h, in fact I haven’t seen him or spoken to him for a month. I don’t really want to to be honest, I’m not sure I would cope

WreckTangled · 05/05/2018 18:56

My toaster broke so I took it back to Argos. They didn't have one there so I asked if they could get it delivered and that was fine but I ended up paying delivery, as originally I had done a click and collect. Should I have demanded free delivery? It's a forty minute drive away so I was thinking it's cheaper than collecting it but then if it hasn't broken I wouldn't have had to pay anything. I can imagine fluffy tutting at me for paying it BlushGrin

mammynowanauntyIRL · 05/05/2018 18:58

Life it looks yum, I'm going to a friends for dinner & all I know is it's pasta!

Wolf he did but it wouldn't matter cos I'm off out now anyhow Smile

lifelongfrugaleer · 05/05/2018 19:01

To be expected wolf, he will be on a rollercoaster too and contact will be difficult for him. Your are doing great.

Today's spend £80 Aldi, £26 Iceland, £35 tea, £50 Sainsbury's, dh and D's at cinema so probably £20.

Blown the calories, macros and have shite steps. Le Yum though

Fluffycloudland77 · 05/05/2018 19:15

It's cheaper than driving there Wreck

SnugglySnerd · 05/05/2018 20:32

Has it really been a month Wolf? You are doing so well and being so strong.

£23 today on top up shop. Went for a lovely walk with the dts in the pushchair - lots of bluebells. Been gardening this afternoon - lots of weeds!
