Anyone want to join me on a cheap food month challenge?

We are spending about £300 a month on groceries (including cleaning/toiletries etc). Want to keep it under £200 for the next 4 weeks if possible. Only 3 of us and I’ve just done a big bulk cook for DS (4) so mainly just me and DH. To cover all meals except we are invited to 2 BBQs in May so won’t need food for those.

Nice. I only put cheese in as an after thought really, definitely not essential.

I just make stuff up as I go along, usually works Grin This was so good, this summer I think we'll be eating it a lot.

We made the quiche again yesterday. It was still good but the first was even better. The only thing we can work out we did differently was the cream, for the first we used dessert cream, the second we used savory cream.
No idea what the difference is really but the dessert cream was better. So if you have 2 options, pick the dessert.

Made it again. With dessert cream, back to being amazing. So it's all in the cream.
