Tax credit reduction

I received a reduced amount today - I'm guessing as it's the new tax year.

My salary has infact dropped from 16/17 to 17/18. Once l get my p60 from work do l just update my award?

I only started claiming June 2017 so this is all new to me!

Call them now and advise of your reduction

Many thanks. Would it be better to wait for my P60 so l have exact figures to give them?

Yes I'd wait for the p60. It's a bit of a funny system though where sometimes you get paid on the basis of last years income and then have an extra payment (or owe money) at the end. I think it depends how big a difference in this year's wages, above a certain amount they'll update. Clear as mud!
