Snuggly
I give everything an extra spin -it a separate 10 minute programme on our machine.
As before you do have to air the house to shift any condensation but I love an aired house so it works for me.
Budget for month done and looks nice and healthy.
Have saved council tax this month .

QuiteCleanBandit · 27/01/2018 14:52

Oooh Sunny I like the look of that !

QuiteCleanBandit · 27/01/2018 14:53

Whats a spin dryer ?Blush

SunnyLikeThursday · 27/01/2018 15:03

It's this gizmo:

www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQXWG1ev0rE

It just spins at about 3000 revolutions per minute instead of the 1600 or 1200 usual in washing machines.

SunnyLikeThursday · 27/01/2018 15:04

It seems to me that the main downside of the spin dryer is all the bending over which might do bad things to a person's back over years of use.

QuiteCleanBandit · 27/01/2018 15:16

Oh !
My Mum had one of those in the 70s Grin

SnugglySnerd · 27/01/2018 15:28

My nan had one too!

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 27/01/2018 15:34

£46 in aldi

Am very tired today with a headache and have my nieces 4th bday party later 😣

QuiteCleanBandit · 27/01/2018 15:40

She did have a twin tub plus a Berco baby boiler (sp) to boil nappies in 🤢

The only think with spindryers is the creasing bugger ironing

Wolfcub · 27/01/2018 15:42

Went to town to pay in (what’s left of) the money my friend gave me for their concert tickets. Cost me £2 in parking 🙄. Bought ds some much needed new trainers - seconds from tk Max and a tshirt. £20. He needs a shirt for the Valentine dance but no joy finding one and he was stroppy so we called it quits. 25 on diesel.

LonelyOversharer · 27/01/2018 16:07

How old is your ds wolfcub? I have 2 'stroppies' they are almost 10&11, both girls. Calling it and going home is always the right thing to do!

So, a load of my (not bike shop) stuff is in my storage box. The counter, which properly fell to pieces is in the shed/workshop. I am having no part of that jigsaw! And 2/3 of my crafty stuff is in the shed/craft room. I feel we are making progress, but there is still a lot to do (by wednesday).

£26.10 on some diesel and 2 choc bars. Was wobbly and needed something. I have a feeling it will be a takeaway tonight. That or beans on toast!

Fluffycloudland77 · 27/01/2018 16:11

The creases drop out easily, lots of things don't crease at all.

My irons rarely seen, I got it out recently & the cat approached it in the way they do when their not sure if this is a threat. Ears back, side on, back low.

You'll love it mammy

Are you doing the standing order trick Elsie?

Wolfcub · 27/01/2018 16:33

lonely he’s 11! Prime stroppy age, all raging hormones and attitude

AnotherShirtRuined · 27/01/2018 16:47

Just checking in. This thread moves so fast. A couple pages back need mentioned an enchilada bake in the meal plan. I've never heard of this Blush. Would you mind sharing your recipe, need?

Nsd today after an expected spendy day yesterday.

mammymammyIRL · 27/01/2018 16:50

I don't iron either, life's too short! I buy clothes that don't need ironing. Luckily we both work in jobs where we can wear what we want & dd's uniform is a polo shirt rather than an actual shirt.

Loveabaconsandwich · 27/01/2018 17:07

£66.50 on night in a travelodge later in the year.
£5.25 on some jojo bows. DD1 has been invited to this themed party and told to wear your bow 🙄

Laska5772 · 27/01/2018 17:30

I have just ordered something from Hush i saw in JL but they didn't have my size £69 its not so real if its crossed out Wink

mammymammyIRL · 27/01/2018 17:42

But if you break it down over 20 years it's not expensive laska GrinGrin

Laska5772 · 27/01/2018 17:46

Very true mammy I like the cut of your jib! Grin

WreckTangled · 27/01/2018 17:54

Oh love how awful! I won't let dd have them as they're so bad but would if she got invited to a party.

Laska I love it!

elsiesnewleaf · 27/01/2018 17:54

Hi Fluffycloud. Yes I am doing the standing order trick and I am also sweeping the odd pennies in my bank account across to my credit card everyday. It's not much but nice to see the balance dropping on a daily basis.

I used to have a spin dryer and it was a godsend. Really handy if you need to freshen something up in a hurry. A quick hand wash, spin and it's almost dry.

Loveabaconsandwich · 27/01/2018 18:00

I seriously considered declining the invitation wreck Grin But thought it would be mean to send her there without one —they may have an unfortunate accident as soon as the party is over—

Fluffycloudland77 · 27/01/2018 18:07

Dh thinks I'm quite mad having a spinner, when it's on he says its like being back in the 1940's.

laska Some valued opinions vouchers would help you fund your hush habit. I'm saving mine for carvela ballet flats. Same price as I paid in marks last year.

Fluffycloudland77 · 27/01/2018 18:22

Made £8 matched betting not £10 so top is £4 out of my money.
