Saving money - best water bottles

New Years resolution is to make massive changes to our spending habits and I realised when I popped into the shops again to buy bottled water & drinks for children that starting with not buying food out is a big step especially as it involves having to be organised!

What's the best water bottle people use to adults and young children 3 & 6

I hate those that can't be washed properly like the sistena ones or the ones with straws ?

Thanks

I just use bottles that contained bottled water. You can wash them and keep using them for quite a long time. Then you don't worry about them getting lost either.

We like these:-

They are easy to clean by hand or dishwasher. The drinking opening is wide enough to not get disgustingly clogged, but narrow enough to not dribble everywhere. They are cup-like rather than sucky. We haven’t had a leaky one yet and our oldest ones are several years old.

I bought all of us double walled stainless steel ones for Christmas from Aldi. They are £5.99 each but keep the water cold or hot and have no taste. You can get similar ones from Amazon or TK Maxx too

The Sistema ones can be washed properly, you just have to take the cap apart. Once you've done it a few times it only takes a second and everything can go in the dishwasher. They're the best ones IME for DCs as they don't leak and are dishwasher safe.

Tupperware! You can get it on Amazon. Everyone always asks me where my bottles come from- bought them 18 months ago and still as good as new and the lid is easy to put in the dishwasher.
