seacow I'm very jealous that you have squirrels in your garden, I've only seen them in RL about three times in my lifetime
When you mention birthdays I must organise something for dgs's birthday we're away for his party but dc will go their with his mom(their sister)
lifelong for my cookery magazines I got plastic edges that the magazine slots into and put them into lever arch's. link
I haven't looked at them anymore though since doing that
Lidl have a lovely shelf from tomorrow that I'm planning to buy and put over my sliding door in kitchen for my recipe books. This will free up a bookshelf in the dining room which I will move to dc's room for their books and it will stop clutter in dining room also.
note to self - measure width of space to ensure it'll fit
Good family planning there em I couldn't even contemplate conceiving until dd was almost 3 so there's 3.5 years between my two
bacon could you return the nappies or is pack open? Well done to your dd
Bought Paralink last evening €4.49 as I had none in stock and in case ds gets a temperature like dd. Also nail strengthener for me €6.99 I don't like the feel of it on my nails but will see if it works
Ah ye mentioned Annie, it's on in the National Concert Hall at Christmas and dh says we can go!! Just waiting on family to decide if they're going too so I can book tickets, they're a reasonable €24.75 for family tickets and I love Annie
dh did the grocery shopping in Aldi this week and spent €125 which is a little low, it's Wed and we're out of bread already but have enough kitchen towel and toilet roll until October
tayto I'm from Connacht so can't celebrate with you
It was my home county that won the Hurling All Ireland two weeks ago
laska I also have separate accounts for saving on ynab - Wood Pellets, Christmas and Canada. €100 leaves joint account every fri and it goes into one savings account. In Ynab it's split €25 to canada and remainder between woodpellets and Christmas. As we've bought any wood pellets we will require until approx Apr/May next year, that money may be used towards Christmas if we deem it necessary. Also I borrow from there rather than use CC.
Spotted that aldi have a set of two wire laundry baskets that are lined this week, I might get them for separating darks and coloureds in our bathroom. Currently they all go into one basket. €17 for set, not strictly needed but would make life easier and look tidier in the bathroom than current system.
Love the idea of walking to school helping bonding, dc school is 5 miles away so not a possibility
cag great that you've been to your consultant and have got the go ahead to have a little more carbs than you were having, they give you energy so carbless you would have very very little energy as you saw.
Infant jaundice was something dd had as she was 15 days early, instead of phototherapy, the nurses advised me to keep her cot beside the sunny window at the hospital and this cleared it up, hers was quite mild though.
@100yearsdotcom I'm not sure of your household numbers but are there others that could help with cleaning? If it's something that's stressing you out or causing arguments it's definitely worth investing in, if only every second week or to do particular jobs for you.
It has definitely helped in our house for sure. I actually increased cleaners hours to 2.5 recently and it's a pleasure to see the difference in my own room and the dc's now that they've been added on to her jobs.
yum must check out once upon a time, actually em have you any recommendations I know you enjoy tv series
need thanks - we're planning another in march and this one again next year, I may try conquer the june one too, the hilly local one. A girl who lives in uk who I ran with recently on our beach wants to do it.
em your curry sounds delicious, I've some spinach that needs using up, and chicken fillets defrosting, and a cold which spices always help with, so that may be what I'll make tonight
le yum
I'm a frozen veg fan too, although frozen peppers only good in bolognese or stews etc not stirfries really
em that would not be funny at the time if petrol ran out, but your dh probably would find it funny to tell ds in years to come
Since I got a fuel card I just fill up car every three weeks unless it's running low in between times.
Interesting reading about skincare as this was previously not an issue for me because I only drink water, my skin just always is smooth and glowing, not boasting, just it has been. However last few weeks it's not been great. It's been dry and the occasional white head that hurts as it's forming. Possibly my period is thinking about returning maybe?
I've got a little bottle of palmers left since I was expecting ds, it came in a baby pack, I find the smell overpowering and it makes me want chocolate
Have to agree with em re cauliflower, but then there are quite a few veg I don't like - anything mashed, turnip, peas(ok in curry/carbonara but only recently) parsnips, cauliflower, potato
and now I'm finally up to date - although I'm only two years older than you em I remember just 17 more than more and mizz being popular. I only started getting more when I was 15 and earning my own money
