Gas & Elec usage HELP!

My current gas & ele fixed deal is about to finish and am trying to work out what type of rate to change to.
Scottish power tell me that I am a low energy user which I very much doubt as there are 4 of us. I read that if you are a low energy user it is best to go for a rate with a cheaper standing charge and higher unit charge.
I just can seem to work out if that is what I should go for or not, especially as fixed deals seem to be withdrawn at a moments notice and I really need to sort it as soon as possible.
In a year I used 15111 kwh of Gas & 4335 kwh of Electric

Thanks all

Go on to the comparison sites and it will work out for you what ££s you will pay over a year, with different tarriffs.

Thanks BackForGood, I've been on the comparison sites but have found that there are tariffs quoting roughly the same amount a year but one tariff will be a high standing charge and quite low unit price and the other a much lower standing charge and higher unit price.
I just can't seem to be able to work out which type is best to go for overall given my energy usage.
I'm already looking at a £50 a month price increase from what I am currently paying.

It probably does work out the same, apart from the pricey standard tariffs competition is a bit of a myth.

A spreadsheet doing the sums will give you actual costs for usage from each supplier. Finding the unit rates and standing charges takes a bit of digging but it can be done. £50 a month more is a big jump - standard tariff?

You use about twice the electricity we do ( only two of us) so you aren't a low user if we aren't.
