Baby clothes

Hi can anyone help with recommending how best to sell baby clothes please? I never seem to have much luck with ebay!

I've always found it to be more hassle than it's worth to be honest, especially eBay.

I find stuff like Next, Gap and John Lewis sell well on EBay. Everything else possibly Facebook?

It's almost impossible. Virtually no resale value. Give them away to friends/charity and buy second hand next time!

With EBay you are better off selling correct season bundles unless you have something from desirable brands like Joules, Boden, Cath Kidston etc which could sell on their own.

If you sell as a bundle put them into a specific age range and have pictures of all items and list the brands and conditions in the description.

Have you tried Facebook groups? Again bundles sell well if photographed and labelled with a price (rather than saying 'open to offers').

It's there a Mum2mum franchise or NCT sale near you? If you have a lot of decent quality stuff (not necessarily brands, just good condition) you may do well there but you'll have to pay for a table for Mum2mum (not sure about nct but I assume there is some contribution required in order to sell). You could always try and join up with a friend for a table

Keep p&p realistic. However, much I like certain brands, there's no way I'm paying £3.80 for delivery of a t-shirt.

Shpock is a good place to sell some clothes like Cath Kidston, CK to Nike, Reebok and even some job lots of clothes. Also Preloved are pretty ok too.

Otherwise try cash for clothes which will get you money-back a company we use pay £1 per kilo on some items (RecycleCollection) recyclecollection.co.uk/cash-clothes/

Another option can be to store the clothes away until summer when you can visit a bootsale?

I don't think this'll last long before it's removed for thinly veiled advertising. FWIW I like the concept though

Major flaw in last question is that saying how much you would be willing to pay is difficult when you don't know what proportion of baby's clothing needs will be met by the bundle (coat? Enough outfits for a week? Snowsuit? etc.)

A few years ago I could make a few bob from baby clothes on eBay but sadly they don't seem to sell well that way now unless they are desirable brands.
