Great idea about vitamins, can you do a link to the teddy bear ones. Also I take echinacea when I'm under the weather.

We are having a lazy day today but will go and visit my dad in hospital as he's had a new knee put in Smile

Cagliostro · 10/09/2016 11:28

So we've decided DH is going to have to run two consecutive sessions next week in order to fit everyone in! I am so happy :o

It's not just the money though. It's the fact that most of the kids attending really struggled with PE in school. Competitive team sports is not great generally for kids with autism, ADHD, dyspraxia etc (which a huge percentage of HE kids have). So it's awesome that so many children will benefit from this, being able to try lots of different sports in a small, friendly environment. :) :)

lifelongfrugaleer · 10/09/2016 11:46

Pictures em pictures.
Missed your lists collie, good to have them back.
Lilac get the clothes. You will feel better and if you get some good basics/ capsule that will be OK when you lose more weight it will be cheaper than a mish mash transition wardrobe.

£4 football, 114 fucking £ in sainsburys. Need to do aldi and Iceland later. Got some party stuff and pressie for dc though so some money can come back from the birthday account

Tell me I don't need a le cruset style metal dish from sainsburys or Lakeland.....

Sierra259 · 10/09/2016 12:02

That's really exciting about the cat em - I agree, pics definitely needed!

lilac I think that sounds like a great plan. I think that's one of the main reasons for trying to be frugal, so that we can have the odd treat without going into more debt. I have about another 8-9lbs to lose, then I'll probably do something similar!

Sierra259 · 10/09/2016 12:10

cag that's amazing for your DH! It's a great opportunity he's providing for those kids who are likely to struggle with sport in a bigger setting.

Fluffycloudland77 · 10/09/2016 12:48

life

You don't need it anymore than I need a chiffon pink salt and pepper set.

CremeEggThief · 10/09/2016 13:05

Put it down and walk away, Lifelong.

How exciting about the new cat, Em. My cat died nearly 2 years ago, aged 16. Part of me wants another and part of me is still loving the freedom of not having someone else to look after plus I am allergic to cats... Anyway, I can't wait to see some pictures.

Loving the new list, Collie.Star

She's beautiful Em Smile . How exciting.

Have had to buy DD another pair of school shoes as both feet blistered from original pair (not frugal). Got Asda shoes this time so a bit cheaper.

Today's spends :
£17 DD shoes
£3.99 DD mag (to encourage reading Hmm)
£10 lidl

Leftovers for tea.

CremeEggThief · 10/09/2016 15:16

WreckTangled · 10/09/2016 15:51

Gorgeous em!

WreckCat just scratched my friends 9 month old Blush he did pull his tail though.

Fluffycloudland77 · 10/09/2016 16:10

Em She's a beauty. I wonder which of you she'll have as favourite.

Wreck Embarassing but the mum should have been supervising little hands.

Ememem84 · 10/09/2016 16:18

fluffy me.

SnugglySnerd · 10/09/2016 16:19

She's beautiful, Em, am excited for you!

Ememem84 · 10/09/2016 17:07

She is currently favouring her catbox. We've out food and water near her. And have left her to it.

We think she's about 18m/2. We know she was abandoned. That's all we know. She doesn't seem stressed. She seems quite happy in her box. Just watching.

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 10/09/2016 17:34

Oh wow Em she is lovely, I love tabbies Smile cats vary so much on how long they take to settle in. My boy cat took a few days but girl cat walked straight in like she owned the place Grin

So I have had a busy morning really, dd went to a new drama group this morning which she really enjoyed and it gave me a couple of hours to meet my mum for a coffee. My mum treated me though and I only spent 99p in town on a card.

Other spends include £15 riding lesson for dd this afternoon (although actually mum paid for that as well!!) and £65 for a dresser which my friend and her husband have bought round for me. Am really pleased with it - it looks fab! Although now have a load of books to find a home for.

Plan is quiet rest of the afternoon catching up at home, might make some banana muffins.

Ememem84 · 10/09/2016 17:49

We've figured in an hour we're going to take the lid off the cat box. The minute she leaves it it's being out away.

If she's not out of it by Wednesday we figure that's when we'll know something is up. We're just sort of ignoring her at the moment. I am desperate to cuddle her but don't want to freak her out

WreckTangled · 10/09/2016 17:53

We were told to just have one room for the cat and to open the door on the box straight away. They said to keep them in the one room for the first week then indoors for a month. We let him out after a couple of days though because he was so at home.

WreckTangled · 10/09/2016 17:58

Have noticed lots of people putting things on fb selling sites I assume in preparation for Christmas

lifelongfrugaleer · 10/09/2016 18:17

£28 Iceland, £6 Morrison's, £57 aldi. Still no meal plan but can cobble something together in sure.

Ah em she's lovely

Ememem84 · 10/09/2016 18:32

Thanks guys. She's purring in her box. So that's good right?

£77 in pet shop today - litter tray and litter, food, bowls,

SnugglySnerd · 10/09/2016 19:08

That's good, Em! Make sure she is in a room with some hiding places so she can settle in her own time. Our cat spent the first 24 hours in the bottom of the wardrobe!

Fluffycloudland77 · 10/09/2016 19:21

Pet plan are really good insurers. She'll come out when she's ready.

£10 sainsburys on treat food, booze and contact lens fluid.
