I've just got my tax credit renewal through. It drops £4k (!) this year, which is bad enough, but I seem to have a weird thing where I'll get nearly the same amount til the end of august, then it drops dramatically. Have others got their's through? Why isn't is split equally through the year?
Looking at turn to us, I am now allowed housing benefit. What's the point of cutting one benefit so I become poor enough to need HB?
Did I know it was going to be so difficult this year? I seem to recall getting stressed at a budget a few years ago...
Am single parent on min wage. Not in London, so nowhere near benefit cap...
