Tax credit question

I know that tax credits will be limited to two children by April 2017 and any claims made after will be seen as new claims etc am not totally clued up on it if someone can help

If someone has one child now and receives tax credits for that child then has another child after April 2017 will the receive tax credits for both or does second child need to be born before then?

2 children families won't be affected. Only those with 3 or more.

Those with 3 or more will only receive tax credits for the first two children if there claim is considered new after April 2017
