My weekly shop in Asda was £71, it's normally around 50. I'm not sure what went wrong. It was a fairly normal shop apart from some blueberries. I think it's all the fruit, we're into fruit at the moment!

girliefriend · 12/06/2015 18:13

Its Friday!! Woo Hoo!!

So spends today £2 parking at work (can claim back) £8.50 after school club (in theory budgeted for) and £10.50 for the class photo (not budgeted for) and £1.50 on sweets and chocolate (not budgeted for but much needed Wink )

Hmm well could be worse, dd has had a letter about a class trip to London for 3 days next year. They want a £25 deposit next week, total cost £200!!

Dd not sure she wants to go but I think if she doesn't then come next year she will feel left out when her friends all go iyswim.

Did well at the good food show. I came back with change from my money. If anyone wants to go to the winter one in Birmingham I have a 30% off vouchers valid until midnight on the 14th.
Got my book signed by Mary berry too. V pleased with that and won a £20 lakeland voucher. The juice bottle leaked in the bag (dh not pressing top fully down grrr) on my signed book but thankfully just the corner of the dust cover. I'm sure it's going to get worst through use.
Who lives on isle of Wight? Is it worth the trip from the north east?

babsmam · 12/06/2015 19:19

Nice find with the money .

142 holy cow Mrs d!!!!!

CremeEggThief · 12/06/2015 19:38

Laska lives on IOW, Babsmam. We are going there from the North East, for the third time in August, spending a week in a caravan. We're going by train, breaking the journey in London overnight. 'Tis a lovely place.

CremeEggThief · 12/06/2015 19:42

Eek, MrsDeVereShock. How many dresses remain after your cull? I don't think I have more than ten.

£10 to DS and £41.26 online Tesco shop, although that won't come out until Monday.

Have a lovely, frugal weekend, everyoneSmile.

NK5BM3 · 12/06/2015 19:47

Amazing MrsDV!! Hats off! Grin Although I've not counted mine I think I probably have 30 dresses of different lengths and purposes and for different seasons.

NSD. Although my shopping list for tomorrow is looking rather long. We've had BBQ food all week long and it's abit urgh now. I crave for simplicity.

SpottyTeacakes · 12/06/2015 19:47

Creamegg where are you staying? Which area?

Fluffycloudland77 · 12/06/2015 20:50

£6.50 fish and chips.

I have 7 dresses. One of them is my wedding dress.

You must all have way more wardrobe space than me.

blueteapot · 12/06/2015 20:51

Never been to the IOW but my granny and grandad did and I remember them bringing me back one of those little sand filled ornaments :) some lovely beaches on the north Antrim coast and donegal if anyone fancies an NI holiday! X

girliefriend · 12/06/2015 20:57

Blimey MrsD that is impressive!

I only have one smallish wardrobe which tends to mean if one new thing goes in something old has to come out Grin that said I had a spate of weddings a year or so back and probably have more dresses than i realise!

Fluffy keep meaning to tell you, my mums cat had something called Calicivirus, which is not great as very contagious and he is unlikely to ever completely get rid of. At the moment he seems o.kay but my mum is upset. My girl cat otoh seems fine (nothing £300 couldn't sort out anyway Wink )

CremeEggThief · 12/06/2015 21:00

Sandown/Shanklin area, Babsmam. Donegal is spectacular, Blue. I'm from not far away, originally.
Counting tunics, I have six dresses left, actually.

blueteapot · 12/06/2015 21:04

NSD here. Dad and I spent 5 hours mowing the knee high grass and carting it all to the dump in the trailer. Knackered! Did a slow cooker chicken curry for tea for everyone. It's all looking much more doable now although it will still take us days.

blueteapot · 12/06/2015 21:05

Ooh lovely creme! Don't you just love how rugged it all is. We're off to the beach tomorrow or Sunday I think actually for a little day trip out x

TheseSoles · 12/06/2015 21:24

I love the NI coast, beautiful.

£63.81 at the vet... Claws, weighing and 3mths worth of flea stuff for 2 cats.

Boy cat is losing weight again Sad

Passthecake30 · 12/06/2015 21:28

Wow mrs D! What else do you have in the loft?

About £100 on the food shop today. Owch. Included side of salmon, big box of persil both half price. Also £8 on worm tabletsSad. Anyone know where they are cheaper? Washathon commences tomorrow!

£24 on 2 dresses in peacocks, have finished my holiday shopping now apart from a hatSmile

SpottyTeacakes · 12/06/2015 21:39
