Reusing rubbish for useful things

I've spent all winter making kindling out of newspaper /card , no idea what to use it for now as I've got a stockpile already!
We also use paper for animal bedding and in the compost.
Yoghurt pots & toilet rolls for seeds , lolly sticks and milk containers for plant labels.
Dryer fluff for fire lighters (got that from here)
Now I'm after more ideas!

Does the dryer fluff thing really work?
If you get a paperlog maker you could make them for your fire. I used to before I went back working full-time and had second child

I've done that before and have a stick pile.
Yes dryer fluff goes really quick

I make crisps out of vegetable peelings - potato, parsnip & carrot.

Thos charity sacks they put through the door make good bin bags. I never have anything to donate.

Apparently egg shells can be boiled in water and left to steep overnight for plant food. Trying that this weekend.

I keep coffee jars (posh ones I ask friends for and from toddler group) and use for money jars/tea/coffee/sugar the possibilities are endless Smile was going to buy glass pens/paint to get children to decorate as gifts for family but didn't get round to it.

I use plastic trays that things like strawberries/sausage rolls come in for paint trays for DCs.

The net that oranges come in can be scrunched up and used as a scourer.

Paper/card to write notes and shopping lists on

My cat has claimed the plastic ring from milk cartons as his toys. He weaves through my legs when i go to the fridge in the hope of getting a new ring. He stores them under the sofa. Hmm Grin
