Cheap bio powder?

Any recommendations on cheap bio powder. I have been using Daz but it's run out and there are no offers that I've seen. I use fairy for colours so this would just be for whites and darks. Thanks!

We use the one from Lidl. I have sensitive skin and it doesn't irritate me at all. It's about £6 for a big box of 65 washes but you'll probably find you get at least double the amount as you don't need much powder.

zippyandbungle · 20/02/2015 20:02

Yes lidl is good. I used persil non bio before and really can't see any difference. Also love the fabric conditioner.

Mrsteddyruxpin · 20/02/2015 20:05

Aldi is the best I have found, absolutely brilliant stuff and I was a diehard persil fan pre doc

Thanks for the suggestions, I shop at lidl anyway so I'll go with that one first and if I don't like it I can have a drive to Aldi next time. I already use the fabric conditioner zippy, smells yum :)

I use the Aldi almat bio- tis very good

YorkshireTeaandCake · 20/02/2015 21:54

Aldi Almat user here too and I was a big fan of Persil beforehand. I use the tablets but only use one so the box lasts twice as long.

sosix · 20/02/2015 21:55

Lidl

Fairylea · 20/02/2015 21:55

Tesco everyday value is great! It's £2.50 a box and is every bit as good as anything else. I discovered it by accident as I needed a cheap floor cleaner for a carpet stain and used some in a wash to try and always buy it now. Smells good too.

wobblebobblehat · 21/02/2015 08:35

ALDI

I always used to buy Persil or Ariel on offer. Seems to get the same result without faffing about waiting for offers to come up.

Fluffycloudland77 · 21/02/2015 09:20

I'm using lidls huge box. Good results.

Not tested on animals like the big brands either Wink

Charlesroi · 21/02/2015 11:25

We use the Lidl one. Bought two huge boxes when they had a 2 for £9 offer and it works just as well as the expensive stuff.

mrssmith79 · 21/02/2015 11:36

If you're near a Sainsburys, they have the Daz on special at the moment - it's the liquid not the powder but it's ridiculously cheap.

SoonToBeSix · 21/02/2015 21:23

Cosco own brand ( Kirkland) huge blue box for £13.

Turquoisetamborine · 27/02/2015 10:59

Aldi Almat Bio liquid is currently on offer. Think is £2.39 for a big bottle. I had to buy sainsburys version instead of Lidl or Aldi's recently and it was crap. Didn't get the stains out at all and H who has no involvement in the laundry asked if I'd changed the powder as his clothes didn't seem as fresh.

girliefriend · 28/02/2015 12:53

I buy Prudax from Morrisons, its £6 for 90 washes (although I reckon I get more out of it than that Wink)

I always buy Aldi's own brand non bio powder (i get really itchy skin in winters too and no reaction) and their fabric softener. In January I bought XXL box of powder that is 200 washes for £10 odd. I always use less then they say and should last us (2adukts and 1 child) many months and machine is on everyday in our house.
I got at same time their 120 gentle wash softener and I use a small amount and we are only a quarter way through bottle. Really good products. Highly recommend.

HolgerDanske · 01/03/2015 11:53

If you buy a bag of soda crystals (£1) you can put a small handful of that in with your powder and use about half the amount.
