step change - anyone used? experiences?

So I finally plucked up the courage to tell DH about debts I had about 4k which I incurred before we met and I have just hid away from and have started a plan with step change. has anyone used them? experiences welcome

Well done on coming clean with your DH and taking steps to deal with it. Stepchange are excellent and will support you in your journey.

Step Change are excellent, they really know their stuff. I had a huge amount of debt and they supported me when I was filing for bankruptcy. I had all my debts cleared once I'd filed and they advised me that I wouldn't have to pay towards the debts as my income was exempt. They will give advice on the best path for you and can communicate with your creditors for you.
