SpottyTeacakes · 25/10/2014 19:40

Yes thanks it was really good Smile ds isn't two yet and he lived it too! He danced, squealed and clapped before getting bored and being a pain towards the end Grin

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 25/10/2014 19:47

Sainsbury clothes will be 25% off from tues if helps anyone I am holding out for some pj bottoms for hospital bag only 4weeks til this baby arrives n maybe some joggers/yoga pants for slobbing in post section. Also ds needs 2 New school jumpers stupid bloody black pen stains have learnt now straight off soak in stain remover squirt anti bacterial hand stuff on bung in wash n hang in window to dry for couple days n generally get rid of stain. Glad I only brought one logo one n that's now being saved for school photos n we had 4 supermarket ones.

SpottyTeacakes · 25/10/2014 19:50

East I had some yoga pants from sainsburys when I was pregnant. They were so comfy during and after. I think I'll go to sainsburys to get dc last stocking bits; knickers, socks and pjs. Then it's just chocolate coins and I'm done for them!

AuditAngel · 25/10/2014 20:00

Well, as expected today was bad. The tickets at the theatre were £138, 2 bottles of diet coke and a bag of sweets £7.50. Mum bought the ice creams £7. Parking was £34 FFS. Mum has a disabled badge, but that only gives 1 hour of free parking on top of the 2 hour on street limit which wasn't long enough, so had to use a car park.

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 25/10/2014 20:24

Thanks spotty just had joggers after ds I like the fact Sainsbury stock longer leg in joggers n yoga pants unlike other supermarkets for pj bottoms from asda I have to order longer leg online.

AuditAngel · 25/10/2014 20:26

Thought I might as well round the day off well. Take away curry with DSis and her DP who looked after the girls for the bit between DH going to work and me getting home from theatre. I paid £16, DSis pad £25.

girliefriend · 25/10/2014 20:46

Thanks Apple I am not sure about doing Harry Potter as dd isn't that interested in him generally but will check it out, am assuming you have to be a fan to enjoy it?

The Natural history museum will def be on the agenda Smile also was thinking about one of the Roald Dahl based musicals!

I talked to dd about it today and she said she would rather do that than party and lots of presents so looks like thats the plan!!

fuzzpig · 25/10/2014 23:21

Bus £5.10 (me and DD)
£8ish lunch
Oh and tesco at a little under £50

Had a great time at a free art event, and then played football in the park :)

DH picked up some stuff at the coop yesterday though and at sainsburys today, never know if I should count that or just focus on my own spending ATM!

frazzled74 · 25/10/2014 23:25

I made a keema curry today and enough leftovers to freeze for another meal. Managed to get the weekly shop down to £57 at tescos, keep getting money off emails for ocado, hello fresh and degousta , I might cave in next week and have a luxury week! Ive been lurking on Christmas bargain thread but have very minimal budget this year so need to sit down and plan.

AdoraBell · 25/10/2014 23:29

NSD

Fluffycloudland77 · 25/10/2014 23:31

NSD.

fuzzpig · 26/10/2014 08:07

Hoping for NSD today as we are staying in and tidying.

Sorting laundry yesterday and found a fiver in a pair of jeans :o

SpottyTeacakes · 26/10/2014 08:10

LSD today hopefully. We're going pumpkin picking so it'll just be the price of the pumpkin.

Fluffycloudland77 · 26/10/2014 09:19

Ffs I'm not even dressed and I've written two complaint emails to sse and flow energy, sse have sent a bill saying my final bill is 1266 on the meter when it was 1237 on switch day & 1255 today.

I'm not paying sse for gas I've not even frigging used yet Angry.

girliefriend · 26/10/2014 11:53

Gah dd has threadworms Blush will have to go to Morrisons chemist for the medicine which isn't cheap plus not cheap in terms of extra washing etc

Passthecake30 · 26/10/2014 13:21

Oh no....worms. Boil everything girlie!!!

Having splurge day, soft play £18.50 to get in and £15 lunch there. Kids are at home with me while I'm working tomorrow (saving childcare costs) and this way they should be happy entertaining themselves tomorrow.

Fluffycloudland77 · 26/10/2014 16:26

£30 on wood to finish the fireplace.

I had worms as a child and the dr gave me medicine on prescription.

girliefriend · 26/10/2014 17:16

Worms = seriously grim.

Medicine was £4.50, I could of waited and got it on prescription I suppose but once I know she has them I can't wait!! Plus dd was awake sobbing with itchiness last night so not fair on her Sad

I have done 3 loads of washing so far today, all on hot washes and must have at least four more to go, the washing bit isn't so bad but trying to dry it all is a nightmare.

Somehow managed to spend another £15 on milk and other groceries Confused not sure how that happened but somehow walking into Morrisons makes me buy stuff!

And £1 at a cake sale this afternoon.

chocolatedonut · 26/10/2014 17:22

£21 on Christmas bits from matalan (will also get 4% cashback). My lovely gran gave me £20 in my (belated) birthday card.

Have £30 left in personal spend account.
£140 left in my "main" bank account. Will probably do a food shop on Tues or wed so that will be £30.

Payday Thursday.

chocolatedonut · 26/10/2014 17:23

Oh and have made £8 on topcashback signing up for various things.

Will also be taking advantage of the 100% cashback pumpkin offer Grin

AuditAngel · 26/10/2014 19:21

£12 on a pair of swimming trunks for DS as he forgot to take his to the pool today. He didn't want to go, mucked about getting ready, I think he thought I'd let him stay home. He is now in debt to me big time as he has also lost his school jumper.

£1.40 on parking (because MIL took her disabled badge with her when I dropped her and DH by the shop). £10.90 on DD2's white ballet shoes. I am very tempted to make DS wear his white pumps for the show, rather than buying another pair of shoes.

NK5BM3 · 26/10/2014 20:06

Omg not v frugal day at all. Hmm

£5 threading eyebrows. That's ok. My normal place is £9 and I've not had them done in 2/3 months. I have used the tweezers!!
£21 lunch out. At outlet place.
£5 hamleys for a present for dd's friend's birthday.
M&s some things but paid with vouchers that we'd won. So nothing.
£30 gap - v good prices lots of discounts. £10 scarf for a friend. £20 dress and tights for me.
£40 at fat face. £12 jumper for dh (Christmas!) £7 for scarf and hat (scarf for friend) and £13 for jeggings.

Think they are v good prices but still.... Shock

fuzzpig · 26/10/2014 20:51

NSD. Decluttering in the morning and geocaching after lunch!

Tomorrow will be spendy. Going to nearby town for a browse, have some stuff to sell at the 2nd hand video game shop (it's not even ours FFS) and there's a board game shop so we will be getting Xmas presents there, and going for a pub dinner after - 6 of us.

Also I MUST get back onto the school meals website, as we've agreed DD can have one every Friday. Haven't used it for over a year as we were on FSM, thankfully noticed before I booked it today as it still had her as attending infant school! So I need to go back tomorrow and actually book and pay for every Friday til Xmas. £2.25 a day but found out we have 3 meal credits so that helps.

AdoraBell · 26/10/2014 21:04

£49 in supermarket.

I have heartburn. Will need to buy antacids tomorrow.

Sixforgold · 26/10/2014 22:06

NSD but I'm feeling anxious for end of month. 5days. £148 in account. Car ins £38 still to pay. Going away on Friday so potentially around £50 dinner/drinks out. Another month where hoped for savings have been frittered. Roll on November!
