I've just had an email from my energy provider checking my eligibility and inviting me to apply for the 2014/15 discount which will be £140 credited to my account in March. Just want to remind people that it's that time of year and to check if you are eligible. The broader remit is quite broad if you are receiving income based benefits or are on a low income. I didn't know about the discount until I read about it on here last year. The credit has made a real difference to me reducing my monthly bill by over £15.
