Cheap treats

Ok so occasionally we all need a treat (or to give one), what are you best and cheapest ones.

The other week I had a couple of quid extra so bought a couple of steaks from Asda, 2 for £7 ribeye, it's one or their normal offers I think. We had them last night and they were amazing, even after being in the freezer. If I still had loads of money I would have happily paid £7 each for them!

Steaks quite a good one isn't it? I've found if I leave them out so they are room temp before frying is very hot oil they taste as good as restaurant steak.

A nice wine with aldi cheese and cheese biscuits in the red box (multigrain?)

Morrisons near me often sells off cuts of salmon ridiculously cheap. I buy a couple of packers of them, steam it and get the good meat, then make something tasty like a salmon and spinach omelette or salmon and Boursin pasta....so cheap but absolutely delicious.
