John Lewis loyalty carry - free hot drink & cake monthly

I'm probably very late to the party with this have have only just discovered it. John Lewis have a loyalty card, not linked to anything financial like a CC or an account. Each month you get a voucher for a free hot drink and a piece of cake (probably equivalent of about a fiver).

Similarly Ikea family card gives you free tea/coffee Monday - Friday.

I didn't see the cupcakes Eastmidlands! We were very boring and had a scone with butter!

This is fab, thanks for the thread, I just signed up online. I hardly ever buy drinks out or cakes, so this will be a very nice little monthly treat.

I love JL, I didn't want my cake (because I was having lunch, nothing sinister) and it was the last day of the month so I asked to just use it for my coffee and they took some money off my sandwich! The chap said he didn't know if he was supposed to but it seemed only fair.

Holly my toddler spots a cupcake at a thousand paces he has had a good teacher though :)

Best thing I get is buy 8 get 9th free at tesco

Was worried I'd lost my vouchers but I just found April and may... Do they send them out occasionally or all 12 months at one go? I don't want to miss out on all the free drinks and cake!

I was sent 6months worth in one go so mine go up to July I think.

You get a free newspaper at Waitrose when you spend a fiver too. Well worth it on a Sunday!

I love my John Lewis vouchers! Lovely coffee and the most delicious cakes.
My next door neighbour and I go every month as our treat - we have both cheated and got a card for our dh's too without telling them so we get two vouchers each in case we feel the need to go twice!!!

Free cake is always a good idea
