I really want to get our weekly shop down to £50 in the new year. Two adults and toddler in nappies. Others seem to manage it! I already meal-plan and we don't eat meat (but do eat fish). We shop at sainsburys and I have food for lunch at work out of this. How do others manage? I feel I must be missing something...as it's usually about £80 Hmm

There is a fabulous meal plan from here: myhumblekitchen.com/menuplan/

We have just done the first week and it is delicious and cheap. A lot of it is staples you will already have. She make sure you are using all your leftovers in the week as well. (Or at least freeze the for a quick dinner later) you start off making stock and use the veggies for the soup the next day. T he stock for two meals during the week, the pulled chicken for the pizza etc.

I am a total convert! Sorry for raving! Blush
