Hi all

The husband and I are in serious need of budgeting and want to find an app that allows us to log every spend and categorise spending so we can see where all our money goes.

I have an iPhone and he has an android. We'd like the same app so we can share data and compare more easily.

I don't want to link to bank accs

Whoops!

I don't want to link to bank accounts - just need a very simple receipt logging spending tracker type thing.

Can anyone recommend pls?

Thanks

I use one such app that works compatibly for both android and iOS as well. The one that I have been using is Replicon's expense reporting app ( www.replicon.com/olp/expense-reports.aspx ). You can go ahead with this app. Its very easy to handle and use as is featured with multiple functionalities to make the work easier.

Is it worth the 60 dollars for ynab?

I use Budget envelopes by mobile corporations llc

I really like it, it's simple to set up, easy to use, was cheap and does what I want.

I had to kiss a lot of frogs before I got this prince app, but there is no way on this earth I'd pay £60 for a budgeting tool.

I use Account Tracker on my iPhone, the developer is Graham Hayley and he's great at responding quickly if you have any queries. I've been using it for about a year and it's brilliant.

I think expenditure is basic and easy to use

We use Goodbudget. You put virtual money into envelopes each month for different categories and enter everytime you spend something.
It's very easy and you can also log on online on a PC.

I also use ynab and it's definitely worth it. Cost works out to circa £40 as it costs $60 us.
