PIN number query

Hi I've got no money coming in till end of next week so thought I would use my credit card to go food shopping and get essentials to tide us over, thing is I can't remember my PIN number as I've not used it for a while, doh It will take a week for new PIN number, wtf?! So my question is, can I use my cc with just a signature and no pin or is that now illegal?! Thanks in advance

Not if it has a chip imbedded within it, I think. It's not illegal, but the card would be programmed to work with a PIN.

Could you do an online shop, as you'd only need the security code on the back?

Online is definitely a good plan. If you look now you'll be able to book a delivery slot for tomorrow with no problems.

Oh yea, I hadn't thought of online shopping! Never done it but could give it a whirl, probably take me a few hours , thanks guys

Don't forget to use a money off with your first shop offer. Most of them wil give you £25 or so.
